Kidnapped son of Penpushing platform member regains freedom
The kidnapped 25 year old son of member of Penpushing platform, Dr Adewunmi Alayaki, Adedamola Alayaki has regained freedom twenty-four hours after being in captivity, and got re-united with his family at about 10.00pm on Thursday.
Penpushing reports that, the university graduate who was in the farm of his father in Isaga Orile community located in Abeokuta North Local Government area of Ogun State was seized by the kidnappers between 1 and 3pm on Wednesday.
The victims was thereafter driven to a forest by the six-armed kidnappers, who later got in touch with the family and demanded for N20million ransom, and also gave a time lapse for the provision of the ransom.
Penpushing also reports, that it was not certain if the ransom was paid, as at the time of filing this report, but the kidnappers late Thursday evening, put a call across to the family, to inform them about the spot the victim would be dropped for the family to pick him.
The kidnappers led the victim for a long trek from the forest and dropped him on Thursday night at Idi-Ori , axis of Ibara Orile community in Abeokuta North Local Government area, before putting a telephone call across to the parents to go and pick him.
Penpushing reports that, it was joyous moment for the family and the boy, as they got re-united at about 10pm, and full of praises to God and appreciation to everybody who stood by the family during the trying hours, adding that, the hours was like a hell.
The boy on his own part while narrating his ordeal to Penpushing media said, it was a walk throughout the night till day break in the forest with his captors, and gave praises to God for soften the minds of his captors, who he said were fully armed.
