Kashamu settles for reconciliation with breakaway Peoples Democratic Party members

The billionaire money bag of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Ogun State chapter, Buruji Kashamu has  submitted to reconcile with the aggrieved members of the party, who breakaway recently

Penpushing reports that,Kashamu made  this known known in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalistds in view of the crisis which engulfed the party recently in the state.

The crisis made the factional chairman of the party, Engr Dayo Bayo, known to be his loyalist, to have recently dumped him alongside some other members of the party, and alleged to be having political romance with another chieftain of the party, Ladi Adebutu who was a former governorship aspirant under the party.

.The controversial Kashamu alongside Bayo Dayo had held the grip of the party close to a decade, following court injuction with them, which made it difficult for the other faction of the party led by Sikirulai Ogundele to have control over the party, until recenley when Kashamu’s known loyalists abandoned him.

Penpushing further reports that both Kashamu and his former leading loyalist had engaged themselves in verbal and written attack on pages of newspapers,accussing each other of various allegations, that bother on moral and money.

.The former Senator and money bag of the party, however, retraced his step as he declared that, he was ready for genuine reconciliation with aggrieved members, as a way  of to reposition the party   ahead of 2023 general elections.

Penpushing also reports that Kashamu,who  represented Ogun East Senatorial District at the 8th National Assembly disclosed that, he has mandated thhose party member still in his camp to be readily available for genuine reconcillation with the aggrieved and brea away members.

“I have the mandate of all the altruistic leaders and elders of the party in Ogun State to declare once again that we are willing, ready and available for genuine reconciliation that will reposition our Party and move it forward”.

“Let me also publicly declare that I have no interest in any elective position, including the governorship and therefore have no reason to oppose the ambition of any member of the party aspiring to be Governor of the state because I know that all powers belong to the Almighty Allah”.

“My fight has always been against illegalities, injustice, and imposition. It should also be borne in mind that the PDP, as well as our respectable national and zonal leaders, belong to all of us. While trying to protect our various interests, we may have roughened feathers in the past. But, that does not mean we cannot bury the hatchet and move ahead”, he said.

“As it is said, “to err is human and to forgive is divine”. Henceforth, we will all be attending meetings called by the national and zonal leadership of our Party in order to forge a more united front”.
