Armed robbers kill university spokesman during bank attack

The Public Relations Officer of a private university in Ilara Mokin, Ifedore Local Government of Ondo State (nameswitheld) was on Thursday shot dead by suspected armed robbers while on his way to work

Penpushing reports that, the armed robbers were carrying out operation at one of the commercial banks in the town when the   journalist who was recently appointed as image maker of the university ran into the robbery operation  

The details of the incident are still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, but sources also added that, two other people were killed in the bank attack, which caused pandemonium in the community.

 Penpushing reports that, Ondo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Tee-Leo Ikoro,when contacted  confirmed the incident adding that  he would release a statement of the details of the incident soon.
