The first class traditional ruler emphasized that the responsibility of the traditional rulers is to support the government of the day so that the people could benefit more from the dividends of democracy, just as he described the view that traditional institution has no role in modern democracy as baseless, misleading, counter-productive and deceptive.

At the same time, you are father of all, and you must always pray for those who come to you. Don’t curse anybody because whoever God has blessed, if you curse, the curse goes back to you’, the monarch stressed.
The guest lecturer, who spoke on the topic,’ “Larger Scale of vision and dream as a legacy beyond 2091 till 2050’, Prof. Olatunji Odedeyi, stressed the need for the people to show willingness towards the sustainability of the SDG’s in the state.
Odedeyi expressed optimism that the dream of the State enjoying good governance beyond 2019 till 2050 is achievable if successive governments key into the plans of the government.
