JOIN HAND WITH SCHOOLS TO BRING BEST OUT OF STUDENTS, ALABA LAWSON CHARGES PARENTS

‘I want to reiterate that education is a two-way direction. The home must complement the school so that we can bring up these children academically, morally, physically and emotionally. Let us do it together to instill discipline and fear of God in the mind of these young ones’, she said.

‘If one exercise 100% discipline you will then achieve 200% academic excellence. We implore our parents to please monitor their ward(s) and report to the school any attitude of indiscipline. The school environment should be an extension of the home’, Lawson added

Penpushing further reports that, Lawson who is the first female and immediate past President of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA),pointed out that a disciplined mind is free from trouble, and will emphatically say No!  to bad gang as well as cultism.

The Proprietress reeled out number of academic activities attended by the students outside the School, which were to their advantages and also empowered them academically, and it include their participation at the Editions of  Penpushing Media Lecture with the theme, ‘The Media and Quest for Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions’ and ‘The Nigerian State: Political Evolution, and Multi-Party Democracy; Education to the Rescue’, among others

Penpushing also reports that, Lawson added that in similar vein, in a bid to uphold excellence and improve on productivity of the school, the Directors, Principal and Staff attended seminars/symposium and training programmes to upgrade their productivity.

The disciplinarian, however, used the occasion to congratulate the graduands and charged them to remain diligent, disciplined and determined, stressing that, ’I remain resolute in my belief that you are bound to stand out from the crowd to become worthy Ambassador of this noble institution and our country, Nigeria’
