Iyalode Yorubaland leads dignitaries to Tourism Startup Innovation Stakeholders’ Interactive Forum
The Iyalode of Yorubaland, Chief (Mrs) Alaba Lawson will lead other dignitaries to the Tourism Startup Innovation Stakeholders’ Interactive Forum being organized by Voyage Afrique Cruise and Tours Limited in collaboration with Consortium of Tourism Partners in Ogun State, Nigeria.
Penpushing reports that, Chief Operating Officer, of the organization, Abiola Ogundeko said the event will take place on Friday, 28th February, 2020 by 10am at Conference Hall, Continental Suites, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital and will be declare open by Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo
The Chief Operating Officer explained that the event is about tourism development and stakeholders who share a common interest in a sustainable tourism development in Nigeria and Africa as a whole through the applications of information technology, innovation and entrepreneurship professional practices.
‘The event will focus exclusively on one of the most important development challenges of our time: How do we create sustainable tourism development through Information Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems? The Tourism Startup Innovation Stakeholders’ Interactive Forum will be the first major event in Ogun State, Nigeria produced in collaboration with the Nigeria’s leading tourism development institutions’, he said.
Penpushing further reports that, Ogundeko said, all distinguished invited guests at the Tourism Startup Innovationn Stakeholders’ Interactive Forum will be actively engaged as full participants throughout the event,.
‘They will also expand their networks, meet partners, open markets, and learn from people with a wide range of backgrounds and, experiences. They will learn about more effective programs to cultivate dynamic tourism startup’.
The Operating Officer stated that, all the participants will learn more during interactive sessions to design real-world solutions to real-world innovation and entrepreneurship challenges in the tourism industry, such as smart mobility, smart destinations, disruptive hospitality, rural development, deep technology, (location and geolocation.
Penpushing also reports that, he explained that participants will learn more about innovative/disruptive nature identified, scalability potential within the business, validated business model, market penetration, entrepreneur/promoter team.
The other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include: Muyiwa Oladipo( former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism), Hon. Yusuf Temitope Adejojo – Chairman, House Committee on Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Toyin Taiwo -Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Kehinde Oluwadare – Hon. Commissioner for Youth and Sports.
