Iyalode Alaba Lawson commiserates with Governor Abiodun over father’s death
The Iyalode of Yorubaland, Iyalode Alaba Lawson has commiserated with Governor Dapo Abiodun over the death of his father, Pa Emmanuel Abiodun at age 89 which occurred on Monday, describing the deceased as great disciplinarian
Penpushing reports that, Lawson in the condolence letter noted that the deceased was educationist of the century who came, saw and conquered, adding that he had left a legacy in the sand of education both in Nigeria and the world at large.
‘I rejoice with your Excellency and the entire Abiodun’s family on the home call of the patriarch who rested in the Lord on Monday 2nd of August, 2021 at a ripe age of 89. Sir, Pa Emmanuel Abiodun, a great educationist of the century came, saw and conquered’, Lawson wrote
‘Papa has left a legacy in the sand of education both in Nigeria and the world at large. A great disciplinarian and philanthropist who had touched so many lives positively. Papa will be solely missed’, she added
Penpushing further reports that, Lawson pointed out that those he left behind are consoled that he has gone home to rest with the Lord, praying that God grant the bereaved the fortitude to bear the great loss
