
International Press Institute constitutes 7-member committee to organize 2025 Conference in Nigeria
The International Press Institute (IPI), Nigeria Chapter has constituted a 7-member committee, to organize a befitting 2025 International Press Institute (IPI) Nigeria Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Penpushing reports that the General Secretary of the Institute, Ahmed Shekarau made this known in a statement explaining that the tasks of the committee for the 2-day event include determining suitable dates for the conference and the meeting in December, 2025.
The statement added that this should be before the 3rd week of the month, to choose an appropriate theme for the conference., choosing the guest speaker and other resource persons for the conference.

Penpushing further reports that other tasks include raising funds as well as making any other worthy propositions for the success of the conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) to the executives.
The statement said the committee comprises: Fidelis Mbah (Chair), Linda Dooyum Kpum (Administrative Secretary of the Institute), will serve in the Secretariat of the Committee, as well as Hajia Sani as member
Penpushing also reports that the statement disclosed that other members are Yusuf Alli, Funke Egbemode, Oladotun Oladipo, Tobi Soniyi and Ahmed I. Shekarau.
