“If you are talking of the presidential election I will support the presidential candidate of the APC, you all know me, whatever I say is what I always do. But for the governorship race, I and my supporters are not supporting the APC governorship candidate here. It is Biyi Otegbeye that is the person I am supporting. Otegbeye of the ADC”, he declared

Penpushing further reports that, it is recalled that, Amosun had been in face off with Governor Dapo Abiodun over three years ago, and none of them had come out publicly to disclosed the source of their differences

The former Governor representing Ogun Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, had in the build up to the general elections, which produced Dapo Abiodun as Governor, sponsored Hon Adekunle Akinlande to tackle him (Abiodun) at the poll

Penpushing also reports that, months after the swearing in Abiodun as Governor, Akinlade returned to All Progressives Congress(APC), and recently left Amosun in the All Progressives Congress(APC), to take Deputy Governorship ticket of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

Meanwhile, the defection of Akinlade was attributed to Amosun’s decision to join forces with Biyi Otegbeye, who is from Ogun West Senatorial District and Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC)
