‘The Commissioner of Police said I should tell you all that, herself and myself will come to the community on Monday ,and take note, I won’t leave this communities. You know I don’t just talk without action’, he emphasised.

Penpushing further reports that, Igboho speaking with thousands of the residents encouraged them to cooperate with the police boss, stressing that she has given assurance that there will be peace restoration in the affected communities

‘Let us cooperate with commissioner of police and the area commander. They both gave assurance of peace restoration.  On Monday, myself and commissioner of police, a good mother and her deputy we are coming here. If the visit doesn’t take place, don’t believe in me again’, he told the residents.

‘The commissioner assured that throughout her stay in Oyo state, there will always be relative peace. She said her visit shall be regular, that responsible policemen will be deployed.  Nobody will kidnap again or be kidnapped’

‘But we should also avoid crimes and criminality, no police will be allowed to extort. On Monday the commissioner will further assured us of safety. Fulani will not be allowed to perpetrate evil again. We are also visiting Ado -Awaye, Okeho, and I vow, we are also going to Iseyin,  Igboora among others

Penpushing also reports that, in a related development, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association has called for  his(Igboho) arrest, maintaining that the Fulani herdsmen are not criminals ,adding that all those that perpetrated the evil must face the wrath of the law.

The chairman of the Oyo State chapter, Ibrahim Jiji said this while addressing  journalists on Saturday  in Ibadan, stating that all hands must be on deck to flush out criminals with the communities.

“We are all Nigerians. We appreciate and love the governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for saying the truth. We need to join hands together to ensure we have a peaceful society. Our people are not happy and many of them are living in fear. Some had fled their homes’, he said.

“We want justice for Seriki Fulani. All those that perpetrated the evil must face the wrath of the law. They are not powerful than the government. Who is Sunday Igboho and why is he more powerful than the government?

“I have said time without number that we have criminals among all the tribes and not peculiar to Fulani. Those who are suffering the injustice now are not the criminals they are hunting for. These are good people and not criminals. The government should do the needful to ensure peace returns to the Ibarapa axis.”
