I SERVED GOD WITH MAMMON TO MAKE ENDS MEET, SAYS PASTOR ARRESTED FOR ARMED ROBBERY

Penpushing, also gathered from police source that, the Pastor was arrested by Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), following an intelligence report about a car snatching by a syndicate operating in Ogun and Lagos States.

The Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Ilyasu said, the syndicates were technically tracked and investigation led the team to their sponsor and receiver, who happened to be the General Overseer of a church in Iba area of Lagos State.

‘He was promptly arrested, and his arrest led to the arrest of another member of the group. A recently snatched RX 330/Lexus Jeep was traced to them but the pastor confessed that the vehicle has been sent to one of their accomplice in Onitsha’, Ilyasu said.

The suspect in further confession to Penpushing during the interview admitted that, he put incision on the body of his accomplice, to avoid being caught during the robbery operation, and also disclosed that, he smoke marijuana and engaged in alcohol intake, which is not known to his church members.
