
I have turned a new leaf, says portable
The Nigerian hip-hop musician Habeeb Okikiola popularly called Portable has declared that he has turned a new leaf and dissociated himself from act that may further dent his image in the society.
Penpushing reports that he said he has equally learnt his lesson with a promise that he would henceforth stopped behaving irrationally and adhered to principle of good conduct and totally do away with social vices and other related criminal attitude.
The youthful singer gave this pledge during an interview with Penpushing Media after his brief performance at the 21st coronation anniversary of Olu of Itori, Oba Fatai Akamo held at the palace in the town located in Ewekoro local government area of Ogun State.
“I have now turned a new leaf. I am a born again and promised to do away with bad conduct. I don’t want to be involved in any bad conduct again. I have learnt my lesson. I want to be a better child now and I promise you this. I want to henceforth run away from trouble. My focus is to make money, and not just money, but decent money associated with good behaviour”, he emphasised
Penpushing further reports that the youthful musician said he would be genuinely interested to pay a visit to Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun to physically appear to apologise over his misconduct,stressing that he has resolved to be more responsible and obey the rules and order of government in all ramifications.
“Please help me secure appointment to visit the Governor I want to genuinely assure him that I have resolved to be of good conduct. I want to physically visit our Governor. Help me out on this. I have learnt my lesson. I am now a born again child and turned a new leaf” he told Penpushing Media.
“I have dropped all this madness behaviour. I don’t want to exhibit the madness attitude anymore and this has gone with the wind. I want to be complete with sound mind now, to enjoy peace. Enough is enough. I am done with misconduct and bad lifestyle”, he emphasised
Penpushing also reports that Portable used the advantage of his performance at the ceremony to seek consent of the monarch to perform in Itori at a later date,adding that he’s readily available to treat his fans with good music, and equally exhibit his found love for peace to reign.
“I will soon come to perform in Itori town with the consent of the Kabiyesi who has approved it and this will come at a later date. I am broke, I need money and not trouble. I have parted way with trouble, its money am looking for now and not trouble or crisis”, he stressed
