I have more cattles than Fulanis, says Ladi Adebutu

The Governorship Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Ladi Adebutu on Thursday disclosed that he has more cattles more than the Fulani herdsmen, explaining that he explore modern way in nursing the cattles, with provision of best ranch in the country.

Penpushing reports that, Adebutu disclosed this during a hangout with members of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ, Ogun State Chapter, as part of activities to mark two year administration of the association.

The politician at the Park Inn Hotels, Kuto, Abeokuta, venue of the hangout while buttressing his claim, said the Presidential Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Atiku Abubakar can as well attest to this, when he came calling and saw the cattles.

‘I have more cattles more than the Fulanis. I have a ranch, and I have over 3,000 cattles. Atiku Abubakar affirmed this when he came on visit. I operate a ranch, and one the biggest ranch, and nurse the cattles in a modern way. If you have time, you can as well create time to visit’, he stated

Penpushing further reports that, when asked if elected, whether he can borrow Ogun State money to better the lots of the citizens and governance, having said, there was no money for the state to go forward again, said  his personal money cannot solve the problem of the state.

The Governorship candidate explained that, the best way out for him to address the problem, is having political power first, and use that to turn around the fortune of the state, by encouraging investors, boasting that his emergence as Governor will attract investors.

Penpushing also reports that, Adebutu accompanied by his Deputy Governorship Candidate, Kunle Akinlade promised that if elected as next governor of the state, he would not steal government fund, rather would be proactive in ensuring that, the governed are well taken care of.

The former member of House of Representatives in similar vein, called for local government autonomy, emphasizing that, the fund and allocations of the local government should go to them, for better administration of the council areas

‘Ogun State has no money to go forward anymore, but we will encourage investors to come. My personal money cannot solve Ogun state problems. What to do first is having political power, which I will use to address the problem, by encouraging investors and turn around the state’, he emphaised
