I have killed six persons for ritual, receive N500 for each operation, says suspect

A suspected ritualist , Sheu Usman has disclosed that he has killed about six of his victims, adding that for each of the operation he collects N500 by his boss, adding that his mode of operation was to target female victims, attacked them with dangerous weapons, and robbed them before hacking them to death Penpushing reports that Sheu while speaking with journalists on Friday at the Police headquarters, in Eleyele, Ibadan said that his earlier plan was to learn about traditional medicine, but his boss who was an herbalist later turned him to an hired assassin “Baba used to sent me to killed, and after the assignment, he used to buy food for me and gave me N500, I told him that am afraid because I might get caught but he told me that I won’t be caught’, he said. “Before I went for operation, Baba will tell me to closed my eyes, and also tell me to open my mouth, he will then use something to touched my tongue three times, Baba told me that after hitting my victim three times and the blood has comes out, I should now said that “this one has become a ritual”, and he said I should walked round my victim three times, and he said some spirit will started having sex with the person; he revealed Penpushing further reports that, the herbalist Adedokun Yinusa, however, denied all the allegations saying that he never sent Sheu to kill anybody, while in her own statement the mother of the suspect said he didn’t know anything about the incident, saying that she only took her son to the herbalist to learned herbalist work. The command in a related development arrested one Abiodun Olasoji for killing Olufisayo Fagbemi who was washing kitchen utensils in front of her house at Ajibade street, Sasa, Ojoo, Ibadan Penpushing also reports that, Olasoji, a 25 years indigene of Akure, Ondo State said that after snatching his victim head with wood, he will then use handkerchief to clean their blood, and later give it to the herbalist for rituals The suspect arrested alongside Olasoji, Adeleke Moses who was one of the suspect said that ” I knew this guy from Olorunkole mountain where he used to be a drummer and it has been a while that I’ve seen him, he knew that I never know anything about it, he is just implicating us for no reason. Penpushing reports that, the Police Commissioner, Joe Enwonwu said that the command recorded the success because of an aggressive and sustainable community policing strategy, as well as the cooperation of the affected community leaders, the concerted efforts put up by officers and men of the command coupled with the unflinching support of the command. “We were able to arrest the assailant troubling Akinyele Local Government Area and some suspected criminal elements carrying out defilement of minors and teenagers in the state’, he added. Meanwhile, the police boss reassured the people of the State that police is ready to carried out their responsibilities of protection of lives and properties, calling on them for their support by giving the command useful and timely information so as to curb crimes and criminality in the state. |
