I am impressed with professionalism of Penpushing Media, says Tunde Lemo

The former Deputy Governor Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Tunde Lemo has expressed satisfaction with the focus and level of professionalism of Penpushing Media, stressing that the media organization is doing a great job in journalism practice.

Penpushing reports that Lemo stated this on Friday when he came to identify with the management team of the media outlet at corporate headquarters located at Leme axis of Moshood Abiola way, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.

The financial expert arrived the office of Penpushing Media at about 12pm and was conducted round by the editorial board and management team and commended the organization on the commitment which has brought it to global world within six years of its operations.

Penpushing further reports that Lemo, however, called on need to support the organization which he said has changed the face of journalism for better, and adhering strictly to the ethics of the profession as well as fight against fake news.

‘At the Penpushing office today, Friday July 19, 2024. I am highly impressed with the focus and level of professionalism. The team headed by the founder is doing a great job, with the support of the members of the board’, he stated

‘They need our support to ramp up their impressive plan to be number one publishing house, given the historical antecedents of Abeokuta, where Iwe-Iroyin began long before independence. Congratulations’, Lemo wrote

Penpushing also reports that the former Deputy Governor of the Apex bank who assured of his support for the organization, declared that he is proud to be associated with Penpushing Media, pointing out that it has turned itself to source of authentic news globally

The founder of the establishment Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji earlier in his remarks recalled the journey of the organization, adding that it was established to correct and tackle the menace of fake news which is almost becoming daily occurrence in the world, with its greater negative impact in our clime, particularly owing to myriads of online communication channels

‘Similarly, it aims to revive the dwindling fortune of journalism practice and be a credible platform for genuine news to its readers across the globe. In line with our mission, we shall consciously want to err on the side of caution to authenticate news for dissemination on Penpushing platform’, he said

Penpushing reports that Kayode-Adedeji explained that the media outlet is in partnership with United Nations Information Centre (UNIC), a member of International Press Council (IPC) with headquarters in Switzerland and member Guild of Online Corporate Publishers (GOCOP)

The Founder added that the establishment is member Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE), Media Consultant for ECOWAS- Federation of Business Women and Entrepreneurs (FEBWE) and media partner with Leading Women of Africa Group, Cape Town, South Africa among others

Penpushing further reports that other members of the management team to receive the former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) include: Eddy Aina, Sina Adefolahan and Remi Olugbenro as well Olawale Kayode-Adedeji (editorial crew member)
