Gunmen kill publicity secretary of all progressives’ congress
Gunmen have shot dead the Publicity Secretary of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Sylvanus Namang, in Panksh in Pankshin Local Government Area of the State on Saturday in an hotel.
Penpushing reports that the Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) Rufus Bature, confirmed the incident, describing the deceased as a dependable ally who was deeply committed to the development of the APC at the grassroots and state levels.
Penpushing further reports that the party boss as at the time of filing this report said the authority of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was preparing an official statement on the incident, while the police is yet make any official statement on the murder
The source, however, disclosed that Namang was gunned down outside his hotel room at about 7:30 p.m on Saturday, while record equally has it that Plateau state, like many other states in Nigeria, has witnessed different attacks by armed persons in recent weeks.
