Governor Sule dissolves Nasarawa state cabinet
The Governor of Nasarawa State Abdullahi Sule, has dissolved his cabinet, including the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), and this move comes barely three days after he suspended the chairman and board members of the Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission due to alleged unauthorised recruitment of over 1,000 teachers.
Penpushing report that Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Ibrahim Addara in a statement said the dissolution of the cabinet was a normal exercise in the state’s political culture, but no reason was given for the dissolution.
The statement emphasized that the dissolution exercise would allow the Governor to make adjustments and re-structure his cabinet, while it is also recalled that the Governor had previously dissolved his cabinet in August 2021.
Penpushing further reports that Chief Press Secretary in the statement explained that the Governor’s decision can be seen as a strategic move to reorganise his administration and address pressing issues in the state,
