
Governor Makinde reshuffles cabinet, appoints secretary to state government
The Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, has reshuffled his cabinet, as well relived Prof Olanike Adeyemo from his position as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and subsequently appointed new one.
Penpushing reports that this ws contained in a statement on Monday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olanrewaju, and gave identity of the new Secretary to the State Government as Musibau Babatunde.
The statement disclosed that the shake up was with immediate effect and as part of the reshuffle, Seun Ashamu has been redeployed from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
Penpushing further reports that the statement stated that the Governor named his Senior Special Assistant on Public Works, Ademola Aderinto, as a commissioner-designate, whose name is expected to be forwarded to the Oyo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation

The Governor in addition, approved the appointment of Abiodun Adedoja as Special Adviser on Energy Security, while Kolawole Akanmu was named Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Economic Planning.
