GOVERNOR AMOSUN SWEARS IN 3 NEW JUDGES
The Governor, after the swearing charged the new Judges to discharge their duties without fear or favour, and also re-emphasised the need for quick dispensation of Justice.
He noted that this was one of the most important responsibilities of the Bench members, urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them and perform their duties by ensuring that the glory of judiciary in dispensing fair and prompt justice is restored.
The State Chief Judge, Justice Mosunmola Dipeole while speaking with journalists shortly after the ceremony, noted that with the atmosphere created by the State government, Judges are bound to deliver effectively.
Penpushing further reports that,one of the newly appointed Judges, a former Director, Public Prosecution, Justice Oludayo Osunfisan, after taking the judicial oath and the oath of allegiance, pledged to join hands with the Chief Judge and the Judiciary to ensure that the sector performs maximally according to expectation.
