The Preacher, Titus Omoniyi in his sermon disclosed that the church in conjuction with the family would immortalized the deceased, just as he told the congregation that, they should all prepared for death, adding that it is a must for all humanbeings to die.
‘The year, the month, the day and the time we are to die is only known to God, but we have assurance that a place has been provided in heaven for us. This world is not our home, but heaven and whether we like it or not we are going to die. Let us mend our ways, our time is coming, we must continue to do good
He said, the bereaved should take solace and comfort in God, and should not let their hearts be troubled, noting that nobody can query or question God over any development.
In his own brief remark, Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun noted that God ways is different, stating that, a moment like this, we should continue to serve, praise and worship God, adding that on behalf of the State Government he commiserated with the bereaved family.
The bereaved husband, Senator Gbenga Obadara in his vote of thanks appreciated all the guests, stating that, his late wife meant everything to him and felt disturbed over her demise, but quickly admitted that, God knows better.
‘My wife is without blemish, she served me with everything she has. My wife gave me joy, but it is a pity, the joy is collapsing. She was supportive, gave me all needed comfort. This is a temporary dark time, I am convinced she is in the bosom of the Lord’,Obadara emphasised
The service was thereafter followed with interment, and shortly after, the family and guests returned to the reception venue, the home of the bereaved, for entertainment, in view of the fact that, the deceased had grown up children, in conformity with the Yoruba culture.
