GENERAL ABUBAKAR, GOVERNOR AJIMOBI CALLS FOR PEACE TO REIGN IN NIGERIA

Hear him ‘ today is one of the greatest moment in my life, I’ve been an Ambassador of Peace since I’ve been Nigeria Head of State, As long as I  live, whoever try to hurt  our national unity will be my enemy forever, I want to urge all Nigerians to work for the unity of this country, work for the peace of Nigeria and always say positive things about our nation ‘

“If you want to be in the right relationship with God, our maker then you needs to work for peace and always think positive about Nigeria. We have no other place to run to should the country be engulfed in a fire.”

Penpushing further reports that, Abubakar  noted that some Nigerians are advocating for dismemberment of the country, pointing out that, ’Sudan did this but the crisis in South Sudan is today greater than what was experienced when Sudan was united’.

“We are many and of different identity, when brought together, the image of Nigeria is that of a rainbow that is more beautiful with many colours.” Gen. Adbsalam explained.

Similarly, Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi in his remark urged Nigerians to remain in peaceful coexistence among themselves emphasizing that peace is the bedrock and foundation of any development.

“Life is about conflict but your ability to manage it is what is call peace, I want to urge our people to continue to live in peace so that our dear country can unit to move forward”, Ajimobi stated

He said that Oyo State is one of the most peaceful States in Nigeria today and this was because his administration based all its projects on peaceful coexistence of its people and that is why he has been able to achieve a lot in terms of structural and empowerment of the people.

“The primary assignment of any government is to make sure that the security of his people is guaranteed, and here in Oyo State we are the first to introduced Health Insurance Scheme and also the first State to introduce the Technical University.” Ajimobi stressed.

Ajimobi who is the chief host also noted that General Abdulsalam Abubakar remain the only Nigerian leader that did not nurse any ambition to come back to power after his administration
