Gboyega Isiaka wins House of Representatives election in Ogun state

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for the House of Representatives in Egbado North and Imeko-Afon Federal constituency election in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Isiaka has won the election with 29,543 votes

Penpushing reports that Isiaka, a three-time governorship candidate in the State, was declared winner on Sunday by Returning Officer, Idowu Adeosun at the collation centre,  Omidokun Hall, Ayetoro, in Egabdo North Local Government Area.

The Returning Officer also announced that Isiaka who had earlier contested for the governorship race on the platform of the Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN) in 2011, as well Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2015 and African Democratic Congress (ADC) in 2019 respectively, defeated his closest rival Olusoji Titus Eweje, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  who scored  17,760 votes.

Penpushing further reports that Isiaka, a known resilient politician and popularly called GNI, it is recalled got endorsement for former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Governor Gbenga Daniel during his ambition to rule the state, but lost
