Fresh F.M radio station General Manager, visits Penpushing media, engages interns on Pep talk

The General Manager of Fresh F.M Radio Station, Abeokuta, Samson Akindele has advised upcoming journalists to be passionate in the profession and be self discipline if they want to attain greater height in the journalism career.

Penpushing reports that, Akindele gave the advice during a Peptalk with mass communications students undergoing internship with Penpushing Media, at its corporate headquarters in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.

The renowned journalist said what is expected of cub reporter  is to have the zeal and passion for journalism, to be outstanding and also to portray decency , good behavior in other to be a well entrusted journalist.

Penpushing further reports that, Akindele ,a practicing journalist of over two decades called on the undergraduates to always comport themselves while in office and field of operations, stressing that they should be seen as good ambassadors of the institutions which produced them, as well as organizations they work with

The General Manager also  encouraged  the interns to make use of the internet as a means of research ,and not for the fun only, emphasizing that journalism requires skills of hard work, intellectuals.

Penpushing reports that., Akindele cautioned them not to see aggressive pursuit of money as their primary objectives in going into journalism, warning that such desire does not make a great journalist, but rather pull them down.
