Fraudster hacks Nigerian businessman’s WhatsApp, soliciting for medical financial support
A suspected fraudster has hacked WhatsApp contact of a businessman, Prince Leke Gbadebo and soliciting for financial support over fake ailment and medications for his faceless family members, and provided a bank account for the money to be deposited.
Penpushing reports that the fraudster in message sent to numerous contacts of the phone number belonging to the original owner said he has challenge in transferring money from his own account, hence, request for transfer of N200,00 which he claimed he would refund as soon as he perfected his account issues,
‘I really do want a favor from you and it’s so urgent please. Good afternoon how are you doing today. I’m trying to transfer money to someone for medications and it’s not going through because of my bank issue, can you help me transfer some money to the persons account details, I will send it back once my network is stable’, the fraudster wrote.
Penpushing further reports that the fraudster who did not know that his target was playing along with him, when asked to provide bank account for the money to be deposited released Access Bank account number 1825819004 belonging to a faceless Victor Obadmilare
‘Is 200,000 Naira. Access bank. Name. Victor. Obadmilare 1825819004. To this account details thank you very much’, the fraudster stated in his message of request to his targeted victim, for the money to be transferred
