
Ambassador Sarafa Ishola hails presence of Christians Association Chairman at Islamic Confab
The Nigeria’s immediate past High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, has commended the presence of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ogun State Chapter Bishop Emmanuel Oludaisi Adekunle at a recent Islamic Conference in Abeokuta.
Penpushing report that Sarafa speaking at the event, dubbed Gateway 2025, held on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Legacy Hall, Abeokuta Sports Club, Abeokuta, Ogun State capital pointed out that the invitation and presence of the Cristian leadership was a proof of religious harmony in the state.
The Ambassador who was chairman at the occasion explained that Adekunle honouring the invitation was an excellent portrayal of the religious harmony that exists in Ogun State, and equally urged leaders and adherents of Islam and Christianity in the state to sustain this

Penpushing further reports that Ogun State Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman, was one of the invited guests at the 11th Triennial Conference of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria (ADSON).
The Christian religious leader not only honoured the invitation, he was treated with utmost courtesy by Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria (ADSON) leaders and other Muslim notables in attendance at the 11th Triennial Conference.
