OYO GOVERNMENT INAUGURATES ADVISORY COUNCIL TO ENHANCE EFFECTIVE GOVERNANCE

 ‘The 10 member Advisory Council is the first of its kind in the State and the main objective of the Council is to advise the Government from time to time on policy implementation of developmental programmes.

Penpushing further reports that, the Governor, however, urged the Advisory Council to be up and doing in the task given to them and be readily available when there is need for expert advice.

The  10 member Advisory Council  include:  the former Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola as Chairman of the Committee, while other members include, the former Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Mulika Akande Adeola; Chief Jacob Adetoro and BarrIster  Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli.

Penpushing also reports that, others on the list include: Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN); Mr. Joseph Olaitan, Mni; Hon. Kamil Akinlabi; Senator Monsura Sunmonu; Chief Gboyega Laoye and Prof. Kolapo Hamzat.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Committee, Hosea Ayoola Agboola  and Senator Monsura Sunmonu  in their remarks pledged that the committee will advise the governor with the fear of God.
