Foremost estate firm, Pelican Valley earmarks N1billion for road construction
The foremost Estate firm Pelican Valley has earmarked a whopping sum of N1billion for roads rehabilitation and construction in its estates located in Laderin and Kobape communities in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Penpushing reports that the Chief Executive Officer of the establishment Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo, disclosed the cheering news on Wednesday during a guided tour of the Pelican Brief Estate and Pelican Greenish Acres Farm Estate by an Ireland based Nigerian and client, Mr. Adewale Obadina.
Penpushing further reports that Adeyemo said the project was part of the major push of the company to enhance the quality of the state of infrastructure in all its estates as well as give investors value for their money
The Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley also revealed that the Ireland based client of the company was equally planning to build a multi-billion Naira Holiday resort on his acquired Acres of land in the Pelican Brief Estate, Kobape
Penpushing also reports that he said an expert on concrete roads and interlocking stones with over three decades of experience Mr.Cyprian Emesuruman, had been commissioned to commence immediate direct labour construction of the roads, starting from the Pelican Valley Estate, Laderin.
The Chief Executive Officer added that company has mandate Emesuruman to deliver the Pelican Valley major roads before May 18 2023 as well as commencement of interlocking stones production at the Pelican Brief Estate, Kobape by May 19, 2023.
The road contractor who had maintained over a decade relationship with the company will carry out the road works, especially at the newest Pelican’s Ecostay Apartments, Pelican Pelican Brief Estate and also the mother of all Estates, the Pelican Valley Estate.
‘This pleasant development is coming as more Nigerians living abroad continue to patronise the firm’s range of products – Pelican Valley Estate, Pelican Brief Estate, Pelican Ecostay Apartments and Pelican Greenish Acres Farm Estate’, Adeyemo stated.
‘Pelican Brief Estate is conceptualised to become a Smart City, the Dubai of Nigeria in Masa – Kobape axis of Ogun State, and the bold initiative is also expected to generate no fewer than 600 direct and indirect jobs as well as rev up the socioeconomic development of the area. The estate will host the corporate headquarters of the Pelican Valley Nigeria limited, purpose built lounge, Restaurant, mini club and a resort for short time Airbnb Lodgers’, he added.
Penpushing reports that in similar vein, Adeyemo, said the Pelican Greenish Acres Farm Estate situating approximately 1.6 kilometrs away from the Pelican Brief Estate, will cater for the expected emerging life of interconnectivity, interdependency and fresh foods self – sustaining community among the Pelican Brief Estate, Pelican’ Ecostay Apartments and Pelican Valley Estate to promote healthy diet and healthy living among clients, tourists, estate residents and landlords.
