For the record: State of Ogun road(s) in Ifo Local Government Area

It’s very important to write on the important of OGUN state government to declare state of emergency on our roads in Ifo Local Government of OGUN.

Road rehabilitation in the state is too bad and slow. OGUN state is not trying in areas of road repairs which will no doubt not encourage potential investors.

One of the criteria any investors consider is free flow of commodities, raw materials and finished goods in and out of manufacturing plant before assembling plant in any state.

Government is a continuous thing irrespective of political differences therefore our governor should consider completing projects stopped by ex governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Anyone coming into some parts of Ogun especially Agbado from Sango or through Isaga in Lagos for the first time will not consider coming back for the second time due to deplorable state of that road.

The pace of infrastructural development like roads under our Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun is too slow and has made a lot of landlords to abandon their houses in Agbado and it’s environs.

The irony of it all is that those abandoned projects get worst on daily basis especially during raining season and living them unattended to immediately will no doubt require more funds from government more in future.

Ifo Local Govt area which is the largest local government in the state is most neglected among local councils our Governor is paying more attention to.

Ifo local government like Alimoso in Lagos gives more votes in OGUN state but unfortunately it’s the most neglected in areas road rehabilitation.

Virtually all roads linking OGUN state to Lagos under Ifo local government are in terrible conditions.

Use of motorcycle is the main means of transportation in this area as most motorists can’t move out their vehicles to work or do business in flooded and terrible  roads.

Sango to Agbado roads is an eyesore, our Governor should declare state of emergency in the area. No vehicle can get to Agbado under bridge straight from Sango, they have to enter Inner Street to cut off a particular spot called Rafco.

There are more local hospitals where motorcycle accidents victims are attended. Why this in a civilized state like Ogun. There are no good hospitals, banks and other meaningful development in this areas due to sorry state of the roads.

Why is government still collecting road worthiness from vehicles owners when the roads are not worthy? All vehicles in this area are bad due to sorry state of the roads. There’s no day in a week regular vehicle user will not repair one thing or another in their vehicles.

Ifo Local Govt needs dividend of democracy like other local government in the state. It will be wrong for politicians to start beating drums in 2023 to solicit for votes from people government neglected for 4 yrs.
