Former American President, Barrack Obama tests positive for coronavirus
The former United States of America(USA),President Barack Obama has tested positive for the coronavirus virus, and his is said to be experiencing a scratchy throat, while his wife, Michelle tested negative to the deadly virus.
Penpushing reports that, the former President made this known through his official Twitter handle, adding that, he has been vaccinated and boosted alongside his wife,as at the time of filing this report
“I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise. Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative,” he said in a tweet.
Penpushing further reports, with this development, Obama joins the list of other notable personalities who have tested positive for the coronavirus, but, however, stated that it is important for everyone to get vaccinated against the virus to prevent upsurge of cases.
Penpushing also reports that, it is recalled that, a Canadian singer-songwriter, Justin Bieber in February announced that he had tested positive for the virus, while in late February, 2022, Queen Elizabeth 11 of England also tested positive for the virus.
The Buckingham Palace had said the Queen was experiencing mild cold-like symptoms,just as statistics but shows that as of March 13, 2022, the United States of America(USA) has recorded a total of 79,517,492 infections and 967,552 fatalities since the outbreak of the pandemic.
