Penpushing further reports that, Musa-Olomu assured that within six months the university shall take off, and while announcing the present commendable status of the hospital said, the institution can carry out cardiac, brain surgery, heart surgeries successfully

‘Before my resumption, the belief is that FMC is a glorified general hospital. We are now up to the task. We have even added two complex for specialty, we can do heart, brain tumor, cardiac operations among others now. We can perform confidently. The facility in every department is more than enough. We have the state of the art equipment, and within six months, our University of Teaching Hospital will take off’, he emphasized.

Penpushing also reports that, the Hospital Director in buttressing his claimed made reference to the recent successful brain tumor operations performed by the institution on a 57 year old patient, who he said is currently enjoying good health.

‘We recently did a brain tumor operation on a 57 year old man. The brain tumor operation was the first to be done in any part of Ogun State. The man is alive and going on with his normal life’,the Medical Director stated with pride
