The federal lawmaker highlighted the Ogun state’s influence on national political discourse, recalling that some of the popular phrases deployed during Tinubu’s 2023 campaign originated from Ogun State.

“If you recall, most of the sayings that defined President Bola Tinubu’s presidential campaign in 2023 were generated here in Ogun State. It was during one of the President’s visits that he said, ‘E gbe kinni yi wa, emi lokan,’ and we thank God that He actually stamped this request’.

“Ogun State has a special place in the emergence of President Tinubu for his first term in office, and, with his unprecedented commitment and leadership in the last two and a half years, it is appropriate that we rise again and mobilise across the 236 wards in the state to give Mr President another term of four years’, he said.

“So, on behalf of my colleagues at the National Assembly and the good people of Ogun State, we hereby endorse our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for another four years of consolidation and good governance from 2027 to 2031’, Salisu declared
