ELECTION: COALITION PARTIES STRATEGISE TO UNSEAT ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS IN OYO
Others at meeting are the Governorship candidate of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Chief Sharafadeen Alli and the Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Bolaji Ayorinde(SAN) amongst others.
Penpushing further reports that, the closed door meeting was held to know the way forward and strategic steps in order to end the administration of All Progressives Congress (APC) administration in the State.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in State, Engr. Seyi Makinde while speaking with journalists after the meeting said “we are here to do what is best for our people, I will not be part of the meeting that will not be benefit for the people of Oyo State. I believe that the meeting will be fruitful and by the end of the whole talk we will address the press tomorrow”.
Also speaking after the meeting was the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde said “we are looking forward to form a unity government that will be a better option for our people. We are not here for a merger but for a collation meeting to see how we can unseat the present administration.
“We have over 10 political parties here and I have all the documents of the meeting here we will all go and study the documents but to resume here tomorrow(Saturday) to finalize our plans. The talks are going on very well. Hopefully tomorrow we shall be addressing the press on the latest development.
