Egba Economic Summit President, Gbenga Adeoye hosts Alake of Egbaland, other dignitaries at new year celebrations
The President of Egba Economic Summit Dr. Gbenga Adeoye has hosted dignitaries which include Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo to a new year celebrations.
Penpushing reports that the ceremony includes thanksgiving service, testimonies and praise worship, as well as indoor games among others, a unique ceremony which marked the first new year celebration by the family.
The traditional ruler accompanied by his wife in his remarks reading from Psalm 126, charged Nigerians to take note that the year 2026 will return Nigeria to a country where one can travel anywhere and anytime as insecurity will be a thing of the past.
Penpushing further reports that Gbadebo expressed optimism that God is going to walk through Nigeria adding that by the time President Bola Tinubu and his security team are done with their current efforts in collaboration with United States of America (USA) everyone living in the country will be happy and safe
The preacher at the well-attended ceremony, Pastor Funmi Kushimo of Alleluia Christian Chapel encouraged everyone to move closer to God in 2026 stressing that the year will be a good year for all.
Penpushing also reports that in his testimony of the goodness of God, Pastor Paul Adeniyi Daniel, founder and General Overseer of Alleluia Christian Chapel praised God for bringing him back to life after a terrible sickness that practically took his life in July, 2025 but God restored him to life
The former federal lawmaker at the Upper Chambers, Senator Gbenga Obadara in his own remarks disclosed that every January 1, is a must for him to attend Adeoye’s new year party and prayed that God will continue to bless the family and the guests
Penpushing reports that other dignitaries at event include Dr Tokunbo Gbadebo,(Olori of Alake of Egbaland), Engr. Ola Sobande (a founding member and one of the brains behind the formation of Egba Economic Summit Group) who served Shell in United Kingdom (UK), Brunel and Nigeria.
The guests include Mr. Yinka Chris Coker (immediate past President of Egba Economic Summit and oil and gas guru from Mobil who retired into Farming in Ogun State, Engr. Tokunbo Odebunmi and Mrs Jokotade Odebunmi.

The list includes Staff and Management of Gbenga Adeoye and Company (Chartered Accountants), staff and management of global legal partners, staff and management of Rejoice Supermart, staff of laundry and equipment, Laflamingo Laundry Services and Ini Hot Pots.
Penpushing also reports others are Lagos Campus Law School Alumni of 2021 to 2022 led by Rex Nwadoka ( A Prince from Imo State), Elyon College and Leadership Academy Alumni Association member who came from different Universities within and outside Nigeria who were class mates of Mororeofeolu Adeoye set of 2024.
The list equally includes class mates of Morowo Oluwa Adeoye from Elyon College and Leadership Academy, members of Alleluia Christian Chapel, Elder Sam Adeogun, a former Permannent Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture in Ogun State and Engr. Seye Maku (Forner General Manager of Ogun State Water Corporation

The host accompanied by his wife Mrs Kemi Adeoye in his remarks thanked all guests adding that their coming was a show of love and fellowship of a kind and wining and dining together creates bonding for the year and promised to make it better in 2027.
