
Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi to mark 84th birthday in low-key
The juju music legend, Chief Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi is to celebrate his 84-year birthday ceremony in a low keyed, scheduled for April 3, 2026, a day which concise with good Friday.
Penpushing reports that Obey-Fabiyi in a statement sent to Penpushing Media, however, explained that he would be having a 2-day crusade programme in Abeokuta on the 25th and 26th March 2026 and some outreach programme to the underprivileged people to commemorate the birthday activities
“I am pleased to inform you that my 84th Birthday on April 3 ,2026 coincides with Good Friday and Easter Festival period.I have therefore decided to have a low-keyed birthday celebration this year. Trusting God for a special 85th birthday anniversary next year by His grace and mercy”, he wrote
“However, l will be having a 2-day crusade program in Abeokuta on the 25th and 26th March and some outreach programme to the underprivileged people to commemorate the birthday activities”, Obey-Fabiyi added

Penpushing further reports that the statement added that the crusade on 25 will feature Ministers and Church workers conference by 10am at the Freeman Methodist Cathedral, Ogbe, Abeokuta
The statement explained that the crusade will hold between 4pm to 7pm, adding that the following day which 26, guests gospel artistes which include Pastor J.A Adelakun, popularly calledAyewa, Esther Igbekele , Ayan Jesu, Methodist Church Choir, Decross Gospel Mission Choir will perform
Penpushing also reports that the celebrator and his music band will equally feature in special thanksgiving music ministration, as he called and appreciate the usual birthday support, good-will and congratulatory messages from friends, associates and well wishes across the world.
