All Progress Congress leadership set to woo Daniel

The leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is to visit former Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, to intensify further efforts to woo him in joining the party.

Penpushing reports that the delegation to be led by the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, will on Wednesday arrive the Asoludero home of Daniel in Sagamu to perfect and cement  the defection of the former Governor from Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)

The Caretaker Committee Chairman will be accompanied by other notable northern leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) which include:  Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State; Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Governor of Kebbi State;Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, Governor of Jigawa State,to further convinced Daniel to come on board

Penpushing further reports that in similar development, the Governors from  the Northern and Southern Nigeria will on Tuesday meet Daniel on the security challenges in the Southwest, at a programme schedule to hold 12pm

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who is the host governor, will lead the Governors to the Asoludero quarters of the former Governor of Ogun State, who ruled two terms under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Penpushing also reports that the proposed defection of Daniel to All Progressives Congress (APC), as at time of filing this report, showed that it’s already giving number of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members and chieftains  sleepless nights, as source said his(Daniel) exit will further worsen the party situation of a divided house.

The late chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Buruji Kashamu, who held the party in jugular ,it will be recalled had before his sudden death, approached Daniel calling on him to take control of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
