DISABILITY RIGHTS INITIATIVE TASKS OGUN SPEAKER TO BE A WISE LEADER

The organization, however advised the Speaker  not to permit intrusion of conceit in any way or form in the discharge of his duties, and should see reason on need to make himself an asset to all (in and out of the House, within and far beyond the narrow purview of politics)

 “Consequently, we believe that you will be deliberate in the goal of making yourself an asset to all (in and out of the House, within and far beyond the narrow purview of politics), in a way that will endear you to people of Ogun State and make your tenure indelible,” the letter emphasized.

Penpushing further reports that Gbesan, a member of  Board of Trustees of the Initiative, assured the Speaker of the organisation’s resolve to work with him and the House towards improving the care and welfare of both the elderly and people with disabilities (PWDs) in Ogun State.

The body reminded  the Speaker of the role he played in this direction during the just outgone 8th Ogun State House of Assembly, adding that,’ perhaps, it’s been ordained that it would be him, Oluomo, who will end the travails of the elderly and PWDs in Ogun State. We will work conscientiously, untiringly and constructively with the House till the end’,
