DINO MELAYE JUMPED OUT FROM MOVING VAN BECAUSE POLICE TEARGASED HIM, SAYS COLLEAGUE

The controversial and outspoken Senator has declared that he should be tried in Abuja, fearing he could be harmed in Kogi where his political arch rival, Yahaya Bello, is governor, but the police, however, maintained that Melaye’s case would be tried in Lokoja where the offences were allegedly committed.

Penpushing also recalled that Melaye on Saturday survived an attempt to recall him by his political opponents in Kogi State when only five per cent of registered voters turned out for an exercise that required at least 51 per cent of registered voters.
