Controversial preacher, Mummy G.O deploys ‘Holy police’ to secure church

The Rapture Proclaimer Evangelical Church of God Church, established by controversial female Evangelist, Funmilayo Adebayo popularly called ‘Mummy G.O’, which is located in Adeyefa Estate, Iyana, Lagos State is now being placed under tight security by the church authorities.

Penpushing reports that, the recent controversial outburst of ‘Mummy G.O’, which focused mainly on who are due and qualified to go to hell as relayed on social media, has turn the church to attraction centre by many visitors and residents.

The development is said to be causing eagerness for many residents to physically see the controversial preacher face to face, and thereby thronged the estate, but in contrary, the church authorities considered such as security risk for the founder of the church.

Penpushing further reports that, following this, the church resolved to checkmate traffic of people and influx of visitors, and deployed ‘holy’ police within the church premises, stationed at different estate points to frisk new faces.

The ‘holy’ police also prevented those described as curious visitors from gaining access into the church which is sandwiched between two uncompleted buildings in the estate, while ushers were not left out on the security measures.

Penpushing also reports that, the ‘holy’ police and other top officials of the church were noticed keeping eagle eye within the vicinity, while source said Mummy G, was said to be missing at the church’s Solution prayers held on Monday, but reason for her absence could not be established as at the time of filing this report.

The firebrand female preacher, it is recalled, following reactions which trailed her  controversial sermon was reported to be cautious of her safety, and during her interview with British Broadcasting Corporation(BBC) feigned ignorance of her viral sermons,

Penpushing reports that, Mummy G.O alleged that those behind the viral videos were trying to run her down and also after her life, adding that the plot started eight years ago through a magazine.

The controversial evangelist, explained that the alleged perpetrators, having failed to discredit her on news magazine, thereafter  resorted to social media, emphasisng that as at the time of filing this report, she has been  receiving death threats and strange calls because of her end time style of preaching.
