‘Constable to Chief Superintendent’ of Police retires 35 years after meritorious service
A Nigerian Policeman Kehinde Adeneye Abayomi who diligently rose from the rank of Constable to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) is now set to retire without a blemish from the force after serving meritoriously for 35 years.
Penpushing reports that Kehinde joined the force as recruit on July 25, 1989 and got enlisted to the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos State, on completion of the training was posted to More Division in Ile-Ife, which was then Oyo State and now Osun State.
The Egba born police chieftain in the course of his policing career was transferred to number of stations which include: Lagos, Oyo, Osun and Bauchi State Commands, and also served at Arowomole Division Ogbomosho his last working place as the Divisional Police Officer.
Penpushing further reports that he equally served at A division Ile Ife, C division Ife -Ife and Ifetedo Division all in Osun state, and at some time worked at Police Staff College Jos, Plateau State, Ikotun Division and Maroko Division Lagos state
The record has it that the police officer who is to bow out on July 25, 2024, in same vein served at Yelwa Division, Soro Division and Warji Division of Bauchi state, while at a period worked as O/C Anti Kidnapping, Eleyele, Ibadan, Ilora division, Bodija Division, Iyaganku Division, Otu Division, as well as O/C fire arms State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Iyaganku and Arowomole division Oyo state Police command.
Penpushing also reports that his profile reads that Kehinde attended number of professional courses in the police which include, leadership course, Sere Hill Jos, mobile training course, Gwoza Hill Maiduguri, First Aids course in Jos and Fire Arms training course Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
