Compass Global, East African Business Council collaborate to uplift small medium entrepreneurs

The Compass Global in collaboration with East African Business Council (EABC) have concluded arrangements in organizing a high-level meeting to position and connect Small Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs), Women and Youths Entrepreneurs from West Africa with their Counterparts in East Africa.

Penpushing reports that Chief Executive Officer Compass Global Business Services, Tokunbo Chiedu made this known explaining that the meeting is scheduled to hold on Thursday, February 8,2024 from 2pm West Africa time and 4pm East African time.

The Chief Executive Officer added that the meeting will be chair by the Director/ Chief Executive Officer East African Business Council (EABC), Mr. John Bosco Kalisa, via the MYEASOKO Platform, and encouraged participants to seize the opportunity to expand their products into new markets via myeasoko e-commerce platform

Penpushing further reports that Chiedu explained that this partnership between East African Business Council (EABC), and Compass Global on Myeasoko follows both organizations successful collaboration at West Meets East Africa Trade Mission and Business Development Tour, which held in Nairobi, Kenya in March 2023 sponsored by Afreximbank, ECOWAS Commission with support from International Trade Centre (ITC).

‘My East African Soko (myeasoko), is a digital initiative of the East African Business Council (EABC) which enables women and youth entrepreneurs to trade, Upskill, Profile their Goods & Services and most importantly keep upto date with the latest market opportunities. Registration is currently Free!’, she added

‘The platform was developed by EABC in partnership with the International Trade Centre’s corporate programme One Trade Africa.  Myeasoko reinforces the International Trade Centre’s focus on digitization and collaboration with business support organizations that support African women entrepreneurs and youth through intra-African trade’, Chiedu stated.

Penpushing also reports that the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between East African Business Council (EABC) and Compass Global follows both organizations successful collaboration at West Meets East Africa Trade Mission and Business Development Tour, which held in Nairobi, Kenya in March 2023.
