I am choice candidate for Ibadan North Local Government, says Olufade

An aspirant in the forthcoming local government election in Oyo State, Mr. Oluwaseun Olufade has boasted that his victory is certain, saying that his pedigree and antecedent makes him stands out among other contestants.
Penpushing reports that Olufade, who is contesting for the chairmanship seat of Ibadan North Local Government while speaking with journalists on Tuesday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital noted that he will embark on programs that will impact positively on the youth, women and less privileged in the council if voted as the chairman.
The Oyo State Independent National Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) has announced 15th of May for the conduct of the Local government election into the 33 local government of the state.
Penpushing further reports that, Olufade, while speaking on what he intend to bring on board if eventually becomes the council boss maintained that he shall followed the foot step of Governor Seyi Makinde through increase in the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the council, improvement in security, education and also reduce traffic within the local government.
“The election is going to be free and fair election because PDP is not going to impose candidate on anybody, we have went for the screening today, the governor has giving us a level playing ground for us to market ourselves to the people of the state, what concerned the governor is for the best candidate to emerged”.
Penpushing also reports that Olufade applauded Governor Makinde for his decision to conduct the local government poll in less than two years upon assumption of office as the Governor of the state, describing the step as a promise made during campaign and promise kept.
The aspirant therefore called on other contestants in the election to take things easy, adding that the forthcoming election should not be a do or die affairs if truly they are going there to serve the people.
“Any political post should not be a source of livelihood for anybody, if our intention is true that we are going there to represent our people, the interest of the people should come first, we should support anybody that emerged, the interest of the people is very important.
