Chambers of Commerce executives pays condolence visit to bereaved family of Iyalode Alaba Lawson

The Executives of NACCIMA BusinessWomen Organisation,(NAWORG) have paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Iyalode of Yorubaland, Iyalode Alaba Lawson who passed on Saturday October 28, 2023.

Penpushing reports that the team led by Deputy Chairperson, Mrs Toyosi Ene arrived the home of the deceased located in Quarry Road, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital into the waiting arms of the bereaved family.

The Deputy Chairperson while presenting letter of condolence signed by the National Chairperson, Hjiya Aisha Abubakar to the family stated that the organization was saddened over the sudden demise of Lawson, who was a former national leader of the body

‘We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our beloved former National Chairperson, Chief (Mrs.) Alaba Lawson, the Iyalode of Yorubaland. Her influence and impact as a leader were felt far and wide, and her legacy will continue to inspire future generations’, the letter reads.

‘Iyalode Alaba Lawson was a remarkable woman, whose dedication and vision touched the lives of many. The establishment of NACCIMA BusinessWomen Organisation, NAWORG, is a testimony of her drive and passion for the economic liberation of Nigerian women’,Abubakar added.

‘’Her tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to NAWORG, have left an indelible mark on our community. Her leadership was characterised by a rare blend of wisdom, compassion, and a boundless drive to make a positive difference’, the letter added.

The women of NAWORG had the privilege of witnessing first-hand the transformative effect Iyalode Alaba Lawson had on those around her. Her ability to inspire and uplift others was extraordinary, and her legacy will continue to shape the lives of those she touched’.

‘We hope you find comfort in the knowledge that Iyalode leaves behind a legacy of profound impact and positive change. Her memory will forever be a source  of strength and inspiration. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. With heartfelt sympathy’, Abubakar wrote
