Chairman of All Progressives Congress to bag fellowship award of Federal College of Education
The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State Chapter, Chief Yemi Sanusi will on Thursday be conferred the Fellowship Award of the Federal College of Education (FCE), Osiele Abeokuta.
Penpushing reports that this was contained in a statement by Registrar of the Institution Tonade Olabode, adding that the award is part of activities for the College’s 26th Combined Convocation Ceremonies
The Registrar in the statement confirmed that the Provost of institution explained that the awardee who is also Managing Director of Akin and Sanusi Company Limited is considered for the fellowship award for his positive contributions to societal development.
Penpushing further reports that he pointed out that especially the educational development of the country in general and his monumental impacts on the growth and development of the college in particular.
‘On behalf of the Governing Council, Provost and Management of the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, I am delighted to inform you that you have been offered the prestigious Fellowship Award of the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta’, the provost said.
‘The award shall be conferred on you at the College’s 26th Combined Convocation Ceremonies for the award of the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) on Thursday, 12th of February, 2026 at the Aduke Maina Hall of the College’, the letter added
‘It is the college’s tradition to confer Fellowship awards on distinguished personalities in recognition of their positive contributions to societal development, especially the educational development of the country in general and their monumental impacts on the growth and development of the College in particular’.
‘Bearing in mind that you are one of the few distinguished Nigerians that fall into this category, the College considered you as a worthy recipient of this award. We believe that your receiving this award of a fellow of the college shall spur you to greater contributions to the education sector in Nigeria and further development of the college and we want to sincerely congratulate you for having a record that merits this honour’.
