CENTRE FOR WOMEN’S HEALTH COLLABORATES BUDGIT, MACARTHUR FOUNDATION FOR WORKSHOP ON ANTI-CORRUPTION
The statement added that, the workshop which is a residential programme is a follow-up to a similar meeting held in June 2018, and will hold at the Green Legacy Resorts located within the premises of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta.
‘It is designed to harness the gains from the previous workshop and develop strategies for working together towards achieving tangible results in our joint effort at promoting transparency and accountability in Ogun State’, Akinrimisi said.
The statement said the Centre is implementing a 3-year project on Transparency and Accountability in Ogun State, stressing that, one of the major activities of the project is the monitoring the Ogun State Home Grown School Feeding Programme (HGSFP).
Penpushing further reports that, the project an initiative of the Federal Government in partnership with the Ogun State Government is to serve one free meal per day to pupils in primary 1-3 in government primary schools across Ogun state.
The statement emphasized that, series of skills building sessions have also been built into the workshop towards achieving result-oriented citizens’ constructive engagement with government in different sectors.
