BUHARI SWEARS IN MINISTERS, ASSIGNS PORTFOLIOS
The Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha and the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole were in attendance among other dignitaries.
Penpushing further reports that, Buhari in his second tenure increased the number of Ministers from 36 to 43, while the swearing in was followed with oath taking and signing of register by the Ministers which was supervised by Buhari.
The President in his speech told the Ministers to realized the fact that they were chosen to work in harmony and always work with their colleagues and subordinates, adding, “We have witnessed eight quarters of consistent growth in the last two years”
“You are chosen from the 36 states, and most importantly, your sheer commitment towards the growth of this country…i believe you are ready to work,” Buhari told the Ministers and also urged them to submit all that requires his attention to the Secretary to the Government Federation(SGF)..
