Buhari celebrates sallah with primary school mates
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday celebrated Sallah with his primary and secondary school mates, who came to pay him homage in Daura, his hometown of Katsina state, and experienced emotional reunion
Penpushing reports that, during the reunion Buhari and his classmates recalled their school days and shared a lot of memories, as he(Buhari) expressed joy and happiness for the meeting, adding that he got the same feeling that he used to have when they were young.
The President enquired about each individual’s wellbeing, their health and wellbeing of their family members, while they both prayed for the repose of those who died between last year and this year, when they last met.
Penpushing further reports that, Buhari thanked the schoolmates for their respect and feelings for him which they have retained, and the guests later presented him a gift, and thereafter joined him to take a memorable group photograph
The leader of the class association, Senator Abba Ali, in his remarks commended the sacrifices Buhari had been making and urged him to maintain focus on the nation which he said was more important than all else.
