BROADCASTERS STORM KWARA TO DELIBRATE ON MOVING NIGERIA FORWARD
He disclosed that Nigerian Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki will be the lead Speaker on the theme: Leadership in Nigeria: ‘Rising Above Sentiments and Propaganda’, while the Governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatah Ahmed will be honoured at the event for his proficiency in Revenue Generation
The statement added that, the Chief Executive Officer of Biscom Communications, owners of Biscom Television, Prince Bisi Olatilo, the Managing Director, Radio Services (Raypower FM), Dr Ambrose Somide, Comrade Garba Tsanni, the National President of Radio , Television, and Theatre Arts Workers Union(RATTAWU) will deliver the keynote address.
‘Sentiments and Propaganda are tools constantly used by politicians and political parties in Nigeria at the detriment of unsuspecting Nigerians. It is an open secret that the two leading political parties in Nigeria, the All Progressive Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party cannot not claim ignorance of this fact’,Nwachukwu stated.
Penpushing further reports that, the statement noted that, as we approach the next general elections in Nigeria, the need to draw the attention of Nigerians who are craving for good leadership on daily basis cannot be over-emphasized.
‘It is in our move to have them properly educated that we decided to saddle Dr Bukola Saraki, who has been a major factor in these two leading political parties. His personal experience as the most investigated Senate President in Nigeria history will also be an added advantage’, the statement reads.
Penpushing also reports that the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) in the statement added that, ‘the task of enthroning good leaders in all the tiers of government in Nigeria is a collective task. We must all ensure that we play our paths’.
