Breaking: MAN COMMITS SUICIDE INSIDE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE HOSPITAL IBADAN

He said, the management was yet to establish the contact of the deceased family, adding that, he(victim) seized the opportunity of the ongoing strike to commit the suicidal, adding that, the corpse had being deposited in the morgue.

Bobade added further that, only item recovered from the the victim was a pair of his slippers, as there was no any identity on him, but said police would work out other modalities to locate and identify his family.

‘The incident happened at about 9am. He jumped from the fifth floor, leaving only his leather slippers. The floor is where the museum is, He sneaked to the floor, because of the ongoing JOHESU strike. It is a case of suicide, and we have invited the police. I am not aware if he left any note, but the corpse is in our mortuary’, the hospital spokesman said
