BREAKING : ATIKU EMERGES PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE AHEAD OF 2019 POLL

Penpushing further reports that, Aminu Tambuwal, the closest rival came second with 693 votes while Senate President Bukola Saraki came third with 317 votes.  Atiku’s victory sets him as the main challenger to President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 general election.

It is recalled that Atiku left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the build up to the 2007 election to be the Presidential Candidate of the then opposition Action Congress(AD),but lost the election to late President Umaru Yar’Adua.

Penpushing also recalled that, he later joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) again and sought to be the party’s candidate in 2011,but also failed to pick the ticket which made Goodluck Jonathan to rule the country until 2015.

However, in the build up to the 2015 election, Atiku  again left the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) for the then newly formed All Progressives Congress(APC),where he came third in the party  presidential primary behind Muhammadu Buhari and Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Penpushing reports that, Atiku last year left the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)  accusing President Muhammed Buhari and All Progressives Congress(APC) of failing Nigerians.
