FARM ATTENDANT ARRESTED FOR ROBBING FARM PAYMASTER

‘After inspecting the portion of Jacob and paid him, the said Jacob suddenly hit him with a club on the head consequence upon which the man lost his consciousness, not satisfied with that, he further matcheted his body severally with cutlass until he passed out momentarily’, police spokesman said.

Oyeyemi said, It was then the suspect dispossessed him of the money meant for salary of other workers and bolted away, adding that other workers having waited  for the supervisor to come and inspect their portion and didn’t see him,  went to check on him at Jacob’s portion where they met the supervisor in the pool of his own blood.

‘On the strength of the report, the DPO Owode egba Division CSP sheu Alao detailed detectives to the scene where the victim was quickly rushed to an hospital for medical attention. The suspect was later trailed and tracked down to Kabba in Kogi State where he was arrested and brought down to Owode Egba Division’.

He said the Commissioner of Police Ahmed Iliyasu has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to Federal special Anti -Robbery Squad (FSARS) for discreet investigation and prosecution.
